Flávia Rodrigues
Flávia Rodrigues was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Currently, she lives in São Gonçalo do Rio das Pedras, a small village in Minas Gerais. She first started carving her own pipes in August 2017 and began to work as pipemaker following her partner and mentor Gustavo Cunha, a renowned pipemaker from Brazil.
Flávia's first sculptured pipe was a classic sandblasted billiard. She works with properly dried Italian briar wood and German ebonite. She is a nature lover and likes the tranquility of a quiet environment where she gets to enjoy her new hobby which is relishing different types of tobacco.
Flávia wishes to meet artisans from other countries and hopes that one day there will be more female artisans around the world.
