My name is António Monteiro, I was born in Luanda, Angola 1961 and I live in Lisbon, Portugal since 1975.
In 2007, I make my first three pipes.
I get my inspiration from Paolo Becker,Poul Ilsted,João Reis and Baldo Baldi.
I do not intend to do more than 50 pipes per year, as I dedicate a lot of passion and a lot of my time to make them.
I use Italian and Greek briar, for mouthpieces I use vulcanite, cumberland and German methacrylate.
I do not use grading - to me they are all “ANTÓNIO".
