Peder Jeppesen

Peder Neerup Jeppesen (*1960) started making pipes at the age of 17 with Karl-Erik Ottendahl in Roskilde. In 1983 he got a job in Erik Nørding’s workshop and that was a most important period for Peder. He himself says: “I really consider my time with Nørding as a vital learning experience; that’s when I really flowered as a pipemaker.”
After a short break at the turn of the century (when he was building houses), he started on his own. Today he has a production of about 2500 pipes a year. There are two different lines of pipes – the handmade high grade pipes, stamped P. Jeppesen, and the ones made with the help of a copying machine, stamped Neerup.
