In her youth Manduela Riger-Kusk (*1967) had a dream—to play the bass guitar at the international rock-festival in Roskilde. That dream never came true, but another one did—to make a beautiful pipe she herself could smoke instead of the corncobs she was used to. She was trained by Poul Ilsted and is now making pipes not only for her own use, but for a lot of admirers from all over the world.
